Dear IEEE P802.3bs Task Force Participants,

Please note that our WG chair has announced the start of the IEEE P802.3bs/D2.1 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet Working Group 1st recirculation ballot.

Open date: Friday 7th October 2016

Close date: Friday 21st October 2016 23:59 AOE

I want to encourage all task force participants to review the document, and keep working towards the improvement of the overall draft.  Because this is a recirculation ballot, YOU ONLY NEED TO CAST A BALLOT IF YOU WISH TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE FROM THAT WHICH WAS RECORDED ON THE INITIAL BALLOT OR LAST RECIRCULATION. If you voted previously and your vote has not changed, the last ballot cast will be carried over to this ballot and you do not need to cast a new ballot.

Remember that voting, as well as attendance, is a requirement to maintain your IEEE 802.3 member (voter) status <http://ieee802.org/3/rules/member.html#DOT3>. To check if you have voted on this or any other ballot please see the IEEE 802.3 member ballot return records at <http://ieee802.org/3/ballots/ballot_returns.pdf>.
