Re: [802.3_4PPOE] Meeting times for Norfolk

Steve will release the full schedule once he gets all the respective chairs to agree to the days. Here’s the bottom line, there are four (and maybe 5) groups that don’t want to overlap. This is almost impossible. If you want to attend RTPGE, PoDL, 4PPoE and the new 100Mb over a single twisted pair SG then you will have to plan to be a interims all 5 days. Who knows how we will handle Plenaries.

I think the schedule online had BP on W, Th. This works with PoDL. I would then expect that the 100Mb SG would be M, T. But these are guesses.

I won’t be there till late in the afternoon on Monday. I can’t travel on Sunday for this meeting. But I wasn’t planning on attending the 100Mb SG.

Just talked with Steve Carlson and Dave Dwelley and we have worked out the schedule for Norfolk. PoDL will meet Tuesday and 4PPoE will meet Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If Dave’s agenda pours over one day, we will give him some time one afternoon from our meeting room to finish up his business.

Currently my plan will be to start at 9am. That may adjust if we find that both BU and BT have a big agenda. I will definitely send an update when we get closer to the meeting days.

And while I have your attention, be sure to visit this page http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html, scroll down to the May interim and click the link to register. Deadline is still a few weeks out but why procrastinate?
