[802.3_4PPOE] IEEE802.bt - MPS base line proposal

Hi all,

 

Please see attached two files that address the DC disconnect and MPS requirements for Type 3 and 4 system.

It contains mps_base_line_text_rev008.pdf and mps_lowpower_v152.pdf that explain what we did and why we did it.

 

This is a work done by many people with the objective to allow flexible PSE architecture and MPS detection implementation and minimizing the p2p_unbalance requirements from the PD.

 

I'll appreciate your review and inputs over the reflector.
