[802.3_NGBASET] 40GBASE-T cabling channel webex minutes September 27

 
Subject: 40GBASE-T cabling channel meeting minutes September 27th. October 25th meeting postponed.
 
Colleagues,
 
Based on not receiving contributions to the meeting the October 25th cabling channel meeting postponed. Next meeting to be scheduled on receipt of contributions and/or requests from Channel ad hoc group to convene.

>Minutes from last meeting were approved.

>Patent policy was reviewed and no positive responses were made.

 >Measurement results were received from Mike Good (Berk-Tek) for long channel (3m-24m-3m).

 >Wayne (Commscope) promised to send results today for the short channel with half meter patch cords.

>Bob Wagner (Panduit) sent results on the long channel and the short channel with half meter patch cords.

> Chris (MC Communications) was to follow up with those who have committed to provide channel results and have not done so yet.

>Our commitment to provide channel data has been completed.

>The next meeting will be scheduled in three weeks, and will take place if there are contributions.
