[802.3_NGBASET] IEEE P802.3bq 40GBASE-T 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

The comment files will be posted shortly.
Thank you for your diligence in reviewing this draft.
Now that the P802.3bq PAR amendment has been approved we can look forward to adopting 25GBASE-T content for the next draft during our next meeting.

Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3bq 40GBASE-T closed successfully on 30th August 2015. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September 2015 IEEE P802.3bq Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 96 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bq Task Force reflector.

An additional 15 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3bq Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 274 Voters
 117 Approve
  15 Disapprove
  32 Abstain
 164 Ballots returned

 59.85% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 19.51% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 88.64% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
