Detail oriented colleagues will observe that the interim was scheduled for the 11th, not 12th.  Either way, I'm going to cancel it!

Thus the contingent interim scheduled December 12, 2015 HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Dear Colleagues,

The 4th IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T closed successfully on 3rd December 2015. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. There were no new negatives, and the one comment submitted was withdrawn. Based on this the conditions to proceed to sponsor ballot have been satisfied.

The ballot statistics are:

 274 Voters
 155 Approve
   3 Disapprove
  27 Abstain
 185 Ballots returned

 67.52% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 14.59% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 98.1%  Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
