Subject: [802.3_10SPE] Wednesday's ad hoc and extra 10SPE ad hoc before November

All –

We have a really full ad hoc agenda for Wednesday – what I call a high-class problem.

There has been a lot of activity on many fronts, and, because we particularly need to see progress on short-reach and multidrop PHY proposals at the interim, I want to make sure that we have ample opportunity to hear proposals and build consensus prior to the interim.  I find that it is really important that people walk into a meeting with a preview of the issues on the table (both from the presenter and the attendee).

As such, and knowing that it is both short notice and automotive Ethernet tech day, I have arranged with Steve Carlson that 802.3cg can use next Wednesday’s time slot ordinarily reserved for 802.3ch.

Please consider this advanced notice of an 802.3cg ad hoc on Wednesday November 1 from 7-9am pacific time.

Please submit any requests for presentations by Friday October 27 at noon, pacific, and the presentations themselves by 7am pacific time Tuesday October 31.
