All,

This email is to inform you that I have received a request to present data at the Nov Plenary in support of the Ethernet BWA.  Wenyu Zhao from CAICT will be sharing data on Broadband development status and trends in China.

 

This presentation will be heard after Carlos’s topic on Tuesday evening, Plenary week.

Dear Ad hoc Participants,

The IEEE 802.3 New Ethernet Applications Ad hoc will be meeting the week of Nov 11, 2018 during the IEEE 802 Nov Plenary that is being held in Bangkok, Thailand.  Meeting details, hotel reservations and registration links may be found at the following URL: http://802world.org/plenary/.   Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.  

The NEA is scheduled to meet twice this week.

The first meeting will be Tuesday night after the 100 Gb/s Lambda call for interest on Tuesday night (11/13) from 7:30pm to 10pm.  There are two topics scheduled for this session –

1.      Jordon Woods – Switching Latency

2.      Carlos Pardo - Automotive Optical Multigig

A second meeting has been scheduled for Wed morning from 9am to 11am to address any questions that may be raised by the other IEEE 802 Working Groups regarding the new ICAID has been submitted to 802 for approval in November.  Please note this ICAID will be circulated to the other Working Groups for comment, which will need to be submitted by Tuesday night 11/13 by 6:30pm.  The NEA Ad hoc will need to respond to any comments received by Wednesday night 11/14 by 6:30pm.
