[10GBASE-CX4] Draft 4.1 now in recirculation




Task Force Members,

For those of you who are not on the 802.3 Working Group Distribution
list, 802.3ak/D4.1 is now in recirculation ballot. The ballot cycle started
on
July 4th and officially ends on July 19th. 

If you are an active member of the 802.3ak task force and you need the
password to the private area, contact me.

This is the announcement of the electronic IEEE 802.3 Working Group 
recirculation ballot on P802.3ak, 10GBASE-CX4/D4.1.  Because this 
is a recirculation ballot, YOU ONLY NEED CAST A BALLOT IF YOU WISH 
TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE.

Instructions for accessing the draft, casting your ballot and 
submitting comments follow this announcement.


TITLE:  
Information technology -- Telecommunications and information exchange 
between systems -- Local and metropolitan area networks -- specific 
requirements Part 3: Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision 
Detection (CSMA/CD) Access Method and Physical Layer Specifications 
Amendment: Physical Layer and Management Parameters for 10 Gb/s 
Operation, Type 10GBASE-CX4

BALLOT SCOPE:
The changes from P802.3ak/D4.0 made to create P802.3ak/D4.1 and 
unsatisfied negative comments are the scope of this ballot.  P802.3ak 
is a proposed amendment to IEEE Std 802.3-2002 as amended by IEEE Std 
802.3ae-2002.  The draft includes proposed changes to both of these 
standards, as well as a proposed new clause.

neither the draft or access information should be copied or

HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS
