The slides presented on the call today are attached. I added one more slide at the end with the main discussion points from the call.

Please, let me know if you would like to propose any improvements to the proposal or any clarifications to the slides. I expect we will bring this proposal for .3ca approval as an initial baseline at the September meeting. If you would like to be listed as a supporter, please let me know.

·         Review of Patent Policy.

o    Curtis Knittle read the Call for Potentially Essential Patents – no response to call.

·         Decouple connectivity elements from the media access elements (G. Kramer)

o    Next steps: proposal is high level, still needs refining before next meeting. To contribute content or be listed as supporter, contact Glen Kramer.

·         Wavelength plan inventory activity – if there is no detailed proposal in Fort Worth, then that particular plan is removed from consideration.

·         Deadlines:

o    Deadline for requesting time on the agenda and draft PDF files: Monday, September 5, 2016 AoE
