Re: [802.3_NGEPON] Call for agenda - 802.3ca (100G-EPON) consensus building meeting

There is no "detail" in there at all - all the figure is supposed to illustrate is the fact that FEC-protected portion of the upstream burst comprises of specific data blocks. Details on FEC codeword structure, alignment markers, etc. will be covered in a separate section focused precisely on FEC. We typically do not try to cram all possible details into a single drawing, since it would become unreadable. We do, however, show some details pertinent to the given subclause, and the remaining set of information are kept at the high level

OK, How about eliminate the detailed figure about FEC CW in Figure 142-3~6. It may distract us from sync pattern and misleading us.

This contribution is not intended to cover everything ever discussed, just items specific to the sync pattern announcement

Hello Marek,

I cannot find the FEC delimiter as we discussed before in the draft. Have I missed anything about this.

Curtis et al.,

Attached please find the updated deck from today’s call, including all changes needed to address comments received. Now that we have tentative consensus and no new open technical concerns were raised I will update the Frame source for MPCP and PCS clauses and share them on the reflector in the coming days for preview and discussion on the next call.
