[802.3_10SPE] clarification on Editorial

Just to clarify, the “Topic” being “Editorial” is not the same as the commenter marking a comment E or ER.  “EZ” isn’t just limited to typos and format errors, but where it appears there is unlikely to be controversy.  The editorial team looked at each comment and attempted to clarify to the best of their ability the nature of the change and issue being commented on.  There are many instances where the comment marked something “E” or “ER” and it is in one of the technical buckets to discuss.  There are also some instances where the commenter marked an issue T or TR and it is in the editorial bucket.

Due to the number of comments we need your help in pre-processing them and reading the reports before the meeting.  Please read the proposed response and see whether you agree with it – that will be a good guide as to whether to pull a comment for discussion.  If you disagree, please offer a specific alternative proposed resolution.  That will help us to converge.  And of course, respectful discussion on the reflector is always recommended to clarify, and hopefully build consensus.
