A very Happy New Year!!
The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 18th December 2018. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2019 IEEE P802.3cg Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 342 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force reflector.
An additional comment was received after the ballot closed, this comment will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
The ballot statistics are:
249 Voters
131 Approve
9 Disapprove
16 Abstain
156 Ballots returned
62% Response Rate (> 50% required)
10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
93% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
