[802.3_NGAUTO] Recirculation Ballot for IEEE P802.3ch is now open



Colleagues,

 

I’m forwarding this notice as the new My Project system seems to have issues with ballot announcements. If you are a member of the SA ballot pool, this is the notification that the recirculation is open and that comments and votes will now be accepted. If you are not a member of the ballot group, we will send out the Chair's Standard Offer letter soon with instruction on how to submit non-binding comments.

The IEEE P802.3ch/D3.1 Standard for Ethernet Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for Greater Than 1 Gb/s Automotive Ethernet draft is an amendment to IEEE 802.3.

It has been written as an amendment to IEEE Std 802.3-2018 IEEE Standard for Ethernet as amended by IEEE Std 802.3cb-2018 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 1:Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s Operation over Backplane, IEEE Std 802.3bt-2018 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 2: Physical Layer and Management Parameters for Power over Ethernet over 4 pairs, IEEE Std 802.3cd-2018 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 3: Media Access Control Parameters for 50 Gb/s and Physical Layers and Management Parameters for 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, and 200 Gb/s Operation, IEEE Std 802.3cn-2019 Standard for Ethernet Amendment 4: Physical Layers and Management Parameters for 50 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Operation over Single-Mode Fiber, IEEE Std 802.3cg-2019 Standard for Ethernet Amendment 5: Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for 10 Mb/s Operation and Associated Power Delivery over a Single Balanced Pair of Conductors, IEEE P802.3cq Draft Standard for Ethernet Amendment: Maintenance #13: Power over Ethernet over 2 pairs and IEEE P802.3cm Draft Standard for Ethernet Amendment Physical Layer and Management Parameters for 400 Gb/s over Multimode Fiber.

The Get802 program, accessible at the URL <http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/browse/standards/get-program/page/series?id=68>, contains IEEE Std 802.3-2018, IEEE Std 802.3cb-2018, IEEE Std 802.3bt-2018 and IEEE Std 802.3cd-2018. The Get802 program however does not yet contain IEEE Std 802.3cn-2019, IEEE Std 802.3cg-2019, IEEE P802.3cq or IEEE P802.3cm so if you would like a copy in order to review this draft, please send me an email at the address below.
