[802.3_NGAUTO] P802.3ch Progress report



 

Colleagues,

 

The 10-day WG ballot to forward theP802.3ch draft to RevCom successfully closed on April 2, 2020 UTC-12.

196 Voters

120 Approve

   0 Disapprove

   4 Abstain

124 Ballots returned

 

  63% Response Rate (> 50% required)

100% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)

 

Next steps

 

  • 7th April: IEEE 802 Executive Committee on-line meeting and vote
    • David Law will make a motion to the EC to submit P802.3ch to RevCom
  • 23rd April: RevCom meeting submittal deadline
  • 3rd June : RevCom virtual meeting
  • 4th June : IEEE-SA Standards Board virtual meeting - approved standard
  • Two to six months to published standard, depending upon Publication Department workload
