[EFM] Restrictive notices on email messages

Dear Members of the IEEE 802.3 EFM Task Force,

The IEEE e-mail reflectors and public Web sites are considered
to be public forums and may not contain any material identified
as confidential or copyrighted by the poster. Some of your e-mail
messages contain boilerplate statements that contain confidentiality
or copyright statements, or which imply restrictions on the distribution
of the message. Please remove these notices prior to posting to the
reflector. The reflectors have been configured to bounce any messages
that contain such statements.

This is no different from the requirement that posted presentations
be free of notices of confidentiality or copyright. Obviously, we make
an exception for materials, such as draft documents, that are
copyrighted by the IEEE.

Thanks for your understanding.

Howard Frazier
Chair, IEEE 802.3ah EFM Task Force
