The hotel reservation link will automatically access the IEEE room block and discounted room rate of $139 (CAD) (USD). If you get an error indicating that the room block is full, please call the toll-free reservation number, 1 (800) 441-1414 for assistance. The room block dates are 28-April through 7-May; the room rate will be extended three days before and after the room block dates, if rooms are available. If you are making your reservation by phone or FAX, provide the code for the room block, "EEIN09". Reservations must be guaranteed by a deposit for one night's room and tax. Any individual who attends any part of this interim meeting must pay a meeting fee. The fee to attend either week’s meetings is $445 (CAD) (USD) based on advanced web registration and Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac hotel registration. The fee for attending both weeks is $695 (CAD) (USD). Visit the meeting registration web site to register for the meetings. The deadlines for web registration are 13-April for the first week’s meetings and 20-April for the second week’s meetings. The late/onsite registration fee $695 (CAD) (USD) for either week or $945 (CAD) (USD) for both weeks.

The hotel will process meeting fee charges and provide receipts for the meeting registration fee. The meeting fee covers AV equipment, network/Internet services, power hook-ups for laptop computers, continental breakfast, morning and afternoon refreshments, and meeting services and supplies. The combined hotel room stays of 802.3 attendees covers the meeting rooms themselves. For this reason, anyone attending the meeting who is not a registered guest at the Fairmont will be charged a meeting fee that is double the advanced registration rate, or $890 (CAD) (USD) for one week and $1390 (CAD) (USD) for both weeks. If you register and then are unable to attend, you must request cancellation of your registration and a refund of your payment by April 20th for the first week's meetings, or April 27th for the second week's meetings. Registration cancellations after that time cannot be accepted.
