Re: [802.3_MAINT] Draft D1.0 is now available

Howard hi,

1. It looks like you and John Hawkins have done a terrific job at
integrating all this disparate material.

2. The MIB should reflect 802.3av at some point. Specifically:

    * Clause 10 should be updated to reflect 10G-EPON. Primarily this
means updating the terminology and clause references. However there
might be some substantive changes also. I can investigate this and
provide a contribution for the Task Force review phase - provided that
it is in fact within the scope of the current MIB project.

    * Has the MIB Task Force discussed updates to the media types in
the IANA-maintained MIB? Eventually, the following PMD types from
802.3av should be reflected by MAU types added to IANAifMauTypeListBits:

	10GBASE-PR-U1
	10/1GBASE-PRX-U3
	10/1GBASE-PRX-U2
	10/1GBASE-PRX-U1
	10GBASE-PR-D3
	10GBASE-PR-D2
	10GBASE-PR-D1
	10/1GBASE-PRX-D3
	10/1GBASE-PRX-D2
	10/1GBASE-PRX-D1
