Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the corrigendum IEEE P802.3-2015/Cor 1 (IEEE 802.3ce) Multilane timestamping closed successfully on 6th September 2016. The ballot results are included below. The 12 comments received during the ballot have been posted and will be considered at the Task Force interim meeting next week.

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the corrigendum IEEE P802.3-2015/Cor 1 (IEEE 802.3ce) Multilane timestamping closed successfully on 6th September 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September 2016 IEEE P802.3-2015/Cor 1 (IEEE 802.3ce) Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 12 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3-2015/Cor 1 (IEEE 802.3ce) Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 212 Voters
  90 Approve
   1 Disapprove
  16 Abstain
 107 Ballots returned

 50.47% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 14.95% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 98.90% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
