[STDS-802-3-MAINT] Fwd: [STDS-802-3] IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3cj) Maintenance #12 (Revision) initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results



Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3cj) Maintenance #12 (Revision) closed successfully on 27th October 2017. The results of the ballot are included in the forwarded message below.

Three comments were received from two submitters. The submitters have offered to withdraw their respective comments and the comment report indicates this. The comments will be considered and the next steps for the revision will be discussed during the IEEE 802.3 Maintenance Task Force meeting on 8th November 2017 (1:30 pm start).

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3cj) Maintenance #12 (Revision) closed successfully on 27th October 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2017 IEEE 802.3 Maintenance Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 3 comments submitted. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3cj) Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 210 Voters
 129 Approve
   1 Disapprove
  11 Abstain
 141 Ballots returned

 67.14% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  7.80% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 99.23% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
