[8023-POEP] Question regarding typical minimum signal level that PHY may detect

Hi all,

I am looking for information regarding the following:

Assuming PHY without any special algorithms for enhancing signal detection ability, what is the minimum signal amplitude required at the PHY receiver input, in order to have significant chance that it will be detected properly.

Again, all of the above is without any supporting signal processing techniques.

It is actually the receiver hardware sensitivity for signal above noise level.

This information is required to the work of the IEEE802.3at ad hocs.

Thanks

Yair
