IEEE 802.3au (IEEE P802.3-2005/Cor 1) Sponsor ballot results and comment report



Dear Colleagues,

The sponsor ballot on IEEE 802.3au (IEEE P802.3-2005/Cor 1) DTE Power 
Isolation Corrigendum draft D2.0 closed with the following results:

Eligible balloters        103

Approve                   79  (98.7%)
Negative with comments     1
Abstention                 2   (2.4%)
                          ==
Ballots returned          82  (79.6%)
                          ==

Approval rate = Approve / Approve + Negative with comments
              = 79 / ( 79 + 1 )
              = 98.7%  (> 75%)

Abstain rate  = Abstention / Ballots returned
              = 2/82
              = 2.4%   (< 30%)

Return rate   = Ballots returned / Eligible balloters
              = 82/103
              = 79.6%  (> 75%)

The draft has therefore met the requirements for return rate, approval 
rate, and abstention rate. We received a total of 5 comments on this 
draft, the breakdown of the comments we have received is as follows:

The IEEE 802.3au (IEEE P802.3-2005/Cor 1) Task Force will be meeting 
Wednesday 19th April to perform comment resolution. The meeting is hosted 
by Intel in San Diego, the meeting notice can be found at the URL:

Because of the assumed short duration of the meeting it is expected that 
some attendees will choose to participate via teleconference. To assure
