Re: [RE] Chair of theIEEE 802.3 Residential Ethernet Study Group

The following message which Steve sent before the last plenary explains:

Colleagues-

I will be unable to attend the March 802 Plenary meeting and have asked Michael D. Johas Teener to Chair the RESG in my place. Please send your presentation requests to Mike at xxx@xxx.com.

I would like to thank Mike for his assistance and extend my best wishes to the RESG for a successful meeting.

Regards,
Steve

Bob,

Sorry for the dumb question, but I attended the session in Atlanta, and for some reason thought that Michael Teener was the chairman...  What was Michael's role, then?

Regards,

Yoram.

Colleagues:

Mr. Steve Carlson has been serving as the Chair of the RESG.  He will not be able to continue in that role.  Consequently, we will need to find a new Chair for the Study Group.  Study Group Chair is a position appointed by the Chair of 802.3, but I would be interested in learning of any individuals interested in the position, or any comments about filling the position.

Please direct your comments directly to me, (not to either reflector).

Chair, IEEE 802.3
