Re: [RE] Synch Work in ITU-T SG15

Title:
Dirceau: & group
A word of caution on this liaison letter.  The source of this liaison (Rapporteur of Question 9) is NOT involved with the ITU-T SG15 group that has the charter for synchronization over transport.  That is Question 13  which has the title "Network synchronization and time distribution performance".  During the May meeting of Q 13, BT made a contribution for Timing over Ethernet with the PHY ("Transporting Synchronisation over Ethernet" which is D197 for those of you with an ITU-T password, and can be found at: http://www.itu.int/md/meetingdoc.asp?lang=e&type=mfolders&parent=T05-SG15-050516-D&PageLB=250).  This proposal was not well received by the Q13 group however and has little chance of being included in the Draft G.pactiming document which is being generated by Q13.
