RE: SDN activities in IEEE802?

Hi Hesham,

At the moment there is no 802.CF draft specification yet, as the official PAR was recently approved. However, the discussions and documents are a continuation of the ones contributed to the OmniRAN EC SG and all the background information can be found here:

Hi Juan

Can you please send me the 802.1CF spec ?

Is there a repository for OmniRAN SDN spec ?

Thanks

Hesham

Subject: SDN activities in IEEE802?

Hi all,

At the SDN BoF we are suggesting sending a LS to the ITU-T Joint Coordination Activity on SDN mentioning the different SDN-related activities taking place in IEEE 802.

The 802.1CF specification on a network reference model is a clear example, as SDN is part of the scope.

-          Is anyone aware of any other SDN activity taking place in IEEE 802?

Regards,

Juan Carlos
