RE: Networking services for the IEEE Meeting in November

Paul:

The 802 office is already a crowded place. Adding bodies logging onto the
Internet is a bad idea.

Please remember the expenditure limits for WG chairs ($200 between plenary
sessions, LMSC Rules, Procedure 1, Item 2).

SEC,

Attached is an update from Don Berry on providing network facilities at the
November plenary (thanks Don Berry and Don Sloan).

I'm of the opinion that even if we only have dial-up Internet access, we
should provide it regardless for anyone that may need Internet access from
the room where we keep the printers and copiers.

Don, is ISDN service available? At least that would be faster than POTS
service.

If there is any other working group that is planning on offering Internet
access, we should plan to share the access across the groups to save some
$$$.
