Dear SEC,

I am sorry for causing this problem. My intention was to help Reed
Fisher
and the Millimeter Wave Interest Group get this effort established, not
bypass BobH, the SEC, nor our rules.

Late last week I spoke with PaulN, GeoffT, BobH, and a few others in the
SEC
and it is my intention to contact each and everyone of you to apologize
directly to all of the SEC members and let you know that I made a
mistake
and that I will follow all IEEE 802 Policies & Procedures going forward.
Additionally, I will prepare a concise report for the Monday 10Nov03
morning Executive Committee meeting which will detail all of the actions
I
have and will take w.r.t. this failure to follow the rules i.e., lessons
learned, potential SEC actions, etc.

I enjoy my IEEE and IEEE-SA memberships and I am currently active in the
IEEE 802.15 and 802.19 and enjoy voting rights there as well. I look
forward to continuing to be a valued contributor to these and other IEEE
802
Working Groups as well as to you the Sponsor.

Again, I am sorry for causing this problem. If anyone has any questions
I
can be reached at:
