[802SEC] Reminder - 802.18 IMT-Advanced Session
Dear EC,
Just a reminder of the 802.18 hosted IMT-Advanced Session to be held
Tuesday, 18 March, at 7:00 p.m. EDT. Location is the Caribbean V room.
The agenda is:
1. Review of the results of the January WP5D meeting
a. Status of the IMT-Advanced requirements and evaluation annexes
b. Status of the Circular Letter announcement
c. Preparations for the June WP5D meeting in the UAE
1) Inputs on what topics? Evaluation? Requirements? Other?
Complete in March or May?
2) IEEE representation - from which WGs?
2. Way forward for a joint IEEE 802 input on technologies
a. Can cover both radio and network aspects - radio in ITU-R and
network in ITU-T
b. Which WGs will participate?
c. Work method - suggest same as used for previous inputs
d. Timeline? Completed by November 2008 meeting to allow for
submission first WP5D meeting in 2009?
Or later and submitted prior to third meeting of 2009? Is a later
or earlier submission best?
