I approve the modified press release but note that the first sentence is broken.
What you currently have is:
IEEE, the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology, announced that the approval of a request from the IEEE 802.22TM Working Group to modify the P802.22* project to support personal/portable user terminals, in addition to fixed base stations and user terminals, for Wireless Regional Area Networks operating in TV Bands.
A simple fix would be to word it this way:
IEEE, the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology, announced the approval of a request from the IEEE 802.22TM Working Group to modify the P802.22* project to support personal/portable user terminals, in addition to fixed base stations and user terminals, for Wireless Regional Area Networks operating in TV Bands.
