Subject: +++ 10-day EC Email Ballot +++ IEEE 802 Input to UK Ofcom

Dear EC,

Paul Nikolich has delegated to me the conduct of an EC electronic ballot on the following motion.

Moved: "To approve document IEEE 802-18-10-0081-03 for submission to the UK Ofcom." This document is available at https://mentor.ieee.org/802.18/documents

Moved: Lynch

Seconded: Mody

Start of ballot: 25 November 2010

Close of ballot: 5 December 2010, 11:59PM ET

Note: This document was developed during the two previously announced conference calls held by the RR-TAG. The intention to use conference calls was announced at the EC closing meeting on November 12th. This document represents the combined responses of 802.11 and 802.22 to the UK Ofcom TVWS database consultation. Ofcom has a form letter that will be filled in and attached to these comments. The Ofcom consultation is available on the RR-TAG Mentor web site as 18-10-0070-00 "Implementing Geolocation Ofcom".

Early close: As required in sub clause 4.1.2.2 'Electronic Balloting' of the IEEE project 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Operations Manual, this is notice that, to ensure the release is provided in a timely manner, this ballot will close early once sufficient responses are received to clearly decide the matter.

Regards,

Mike
