Re: [802SEC] Consent agenda Motions out of IEEE 802 JTC1 SC

Paul,

Based on the provided presentation, it is not clear what the motions will be, and as wording of motions has not been provided to me at this time, I am requesting that these not be placed on the consent agenda.

Subject: Motions out of IEEE 802 JTC1 SC

G’day all

I have uploaded  the closing report of the IEEE 802 JTC1 SC to https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/14/11-14-0971-02-0jtc-jtc1-closing-report-july-2014.pptx

It includes a number of motions or pointers to motions at the end

·         Slide 8 has a motion for consideration in 802.11 WG

·         Slides 9-10 points at motions for consideration in 802 EC

o   Equivalent motions either have been or  will be approved in from 802.1/11/22 WGs

o   The WG Chairs will need to provide exact wording to John D’Ambrosi

·         Slide 11-12 has motions for IEEE 802 EC directly from IEEE 802 JTC1 SC

I suspect all EC motions can be placed on consent agenda

Andrew
