Re: [802SEC] 802.3 comments on 15.3e PAR and CSD

Geoff

Thanks. Makes sense. I will go with the known values of 30.

Bob-

My suggestion would be that you use the smallest number of the available legitimate numbers.
Without regard to what the rules say (and accounting for differences between 802 operations and most of the rest of the SA)
what NESCOM wants to know is how many people are actually going to be working on the standard.

In either case, your numbers are likely to be well above the NESCOM threshold of worry (which is 10, I believe)
that it will not be an issue.

Best regards,

Geoff

Specifically regarding your comment on 5.1, number of participants, the WG membership runs between 100-150 depending on project activity and we expect this project to capture interest once it becomes official, hence the uptick from the SG numbers, but we can take the number down.  As an aside, I have gotten comments on past PARs that I should be using the WG membership number in this spot.  I have never been able to find a definitive answer on what is preferred from a NesCom perspective.  Jon, since you are on NesCom, is there a preference?
