Mason Standard Communication Test Scenarios TF PSRC Meeting Palm Beach Gardens, FL January 14, 1997 Minutes The meeting was called to order by Dennis Holstein and he went over the agenda for the meeting. The proposed officers are: Dennis Holstein - Chairman John Tengdin - Vice Chairman Mason Clark - Secretary Dennis then went on to explain the need for the proposed standard and proposed a solution outline to go by which several comments were made to improve. Some of the comments and action items are listed below: . Joe Koepfinger stated that we should go for a full standard now, not a trial use standard . Jerry Melcher to get an EPRI release of copyright on Requirements Document . Dennis to change outline to IEEE standard outline . Make sure standard agrees with the PAR . Move scope to front to agree with PAR . Spellout IED . John McDonald said the emphasis should be on the test scenarios, not the fast track . Use joint task force with Substation Committee; all that is needed is for the two chairmen to agree . Have a joint meeting (~2 days) to review comments with authors present (after September meeting) . Review schedule and make more realistic . Need to produce roadmap of scenarios (matrix) . Put AEP scenario in proposed format as scenario #1 (Dennis & John) . Use E-Mail to suggest scenarios (everybody) . Focus on: . automatics, not people oriented . Station to station . Contingency levels 1&2 . Include loading profiles to be evaluated . Make sure we describe loading profiles . Check AT&T/Bell data scenarios . Volunteers . Bob Ryan .
