Task Forces
The Harmonics Working Group coordinates work under the following task forces:
Task Force for IEEE 519 Revision
This task force is chaired by Mark Halpin and is revising IEEE 519-1992, Recommended Practices and Requirements for Harmonic Control in Electric Power Systems. The drafts of IEEE P519 are password-protected. Contact the task force chair for the password.
- IEEE P519 Revision Draft 3, July 2008
Task Force on Guide for Applying Harmonic Limits on Power Systems
This task force is chaired by Bill Moncrief and is writing a Guide for Applying Harmonic Limits on Power Systems. The drafts of IEEE P519.1 are password-protected. Contact the task force chair for the password.
Task Force on Harmonics Modeling and Simulation
This task force is chaired by Gary Chang. The task force collects, documents, and disseminates information related to the modeling and simulation of power system harmonics.
Task Force on Probabilistic Aspects of Harmonics
This task force is chaired by Paulo Ribeiro. Its focus is on writing papers related to the probabilistic aspects of electric power system harmonics.
Task Force on Interharmonics
This task force was chaired by Erich Gunther.
