IEEE-SA Health IT Standards Study Group

The IEEE-SA recently chartered a Study Group to ascertain if there are gaps in the current health IT standards landscape where the IEEE could bring its resources to address. Linda Weaver at Smart Systems for Health Agency and Jose C. Lacal at Motorola co-chair this Study Group.

IEEE wants to work collaboratively with existing organizations that have an interest in this space. Our Study Group's initial meeting took place in Ottawa, Canada on 03/29 and 03/30, hosted by Nortel. Ottawa, CA Meeting You can see the meeting's announcement here.
