Hi folks
Can anyone help Alison? Please reply directly to her.

I am interested in talking to anyone who has carried out research into
teacher education by distance learning. I am working at the Kigali Institute
of Education in Rwanda and we are setting up an in-service programme for
unqualified secondary teachers.
I have a suspicion that many of the people involved - writers, tutors,
instructional designers, etc - all of whom are or were teachers - find the
concept that you can learn without being in the same room as a teacher
slightly unacceptable.
I have searched many archives but not found any relevant research.
thanks
Alison Mead
