Atlas Island Media, Inc., a San Francisco-based enterprise is creating a new
way of learning on the Web through the integration of simulation,
multi-tiered mentoring and collaboration. We are currently seeking a Vice
President of Engineering. Qualifications we are looking for in this
exceptional individual include:
Experience with integrating existing Internet-based multimedia technologies
in the creation of a robust eLearning platform. Awareness of best-of-breed
simulation and multi-user collaborative technologies. Experience in all
relevant Web technologies and languages including awareness and /or
experience of server-side applications: Cold Fusion, PHP, Java, SOAP, ICQ &
Web Mail. Experience in engineering online multi-player games a definite
plus. Direct experience with integrating Flash with databases required.
Understanding of evolving eLearning standards: AICC, ADL SCORM, etc.
Experience with creation of internal toolkits and templates and customer
content entry tools.
