Hello,
My name is Angélique Kerkhoffs.
I am doing research for a module called Project Studies on e-learning dropout, and to be more specific, the digital reasons for e-learning dropout.
Digital doesn’t mean the motivational aspects or the self-discipline aspect that may cause student dropout.
There are several studies on e-learning dropout. Most of them however on dropout of company related e-learning. My study will be on dropout of non-company e-learning.
Another specific is that this study will be out of the student’s point of view.
I am an e-learning student myself. This is the third and final year of my Master of Science study.
The research on digital-dropout could serve, together with my own experience as a digital student, as a basis for a dissertation on (University) student’s experiences with didactical aspects of e-learning. In my opinion dropout of e-learning could be caused by poor didactical approach of e-learning.
Does anyone know of studies on the subject of digital reasons for student dropout of e-learning?
Reading more about student experiences will be helpful. Your help is greatly appreciated.
