Here are some questions e-mailed to me by TC-8 member Phil Fleming, and
my answers to them. --Joe Czapski, TC-8 Chair, 09-Dec-2002

Yes. And good that it has TC-8 approval this time.

Looks like January or February.

Same ballot group as before. No additions. Yes, you're on it. No, the
ballot group roster will not be revealed until the standard is approved and
published.

Yes, indeed. I've been compiling current mailing addresses for a month now!

Anyone who we can find may change his vote. It does not matter what his job
or profession is now, or even whether he has one. It does not matter
whether or not he is still a member of the IEEE-SA.

Anyone who we cannot find or who has passed away or become too infirm: his
vote stands as he last left it.

(I have verified with the IEEE-SA staff that these are the correct
procedures.)
