IEEE/RAC topics for discussion

Several of the  IEEE/RAC activities are listed below. Comments should be sent to the
MSC reflector or the IEEE/RAC representatives.

• The MSC representatives to the IEEE/RAC are:
  MSC reflector - comments are distributed to the MSC reflector
  David B Gustavson  - a MSC's IEEE/RAC representative
  David V James  - a MSC's IEEE/RAC representative

• Review of tutorials (comments most useful by 2003Oct24).
  These tutorials are deprecating the use of company_id based definitions.
  Many small clarifications and revisions are also provided.
• FAQs (version 1). Frequently asked questions revisions for clarity.
• FAQs (version 2). Frequently asked questions, with inputs from Geoff.
• UseOfEui. Common introdution to EUI-48 and EUI-64 descriptions.
• EUI48. Discussion of the EUI-48 (a 48-bit unique identifier) format & function.
• EUI64. Discussion of the EUI-64 (a 64-bit unique identifier) format & function.

• Proposal for context-dependent OUI-based identifiers. Please review before 2003Oct25,
  so this can be forwarded to the IEEE/RAC for review before its November meeting.
• OUI derivatives. Proposal for uniqueness across {contextId, contextDependentID}.
