This standard is under development and is incorporating former ATEA standards with modern requirements for OCS.

Scope:
This standard determines methods and techniques for designing overhead contact systems for heritage trolley operations, light rail with trolley pole current collection, and museum systems.

Purpose:
At the present time, there are no  standards for the design of overhead contact systems utilizing trolley poles for heritage type operations. This standard provides methods and guidelines for maintenance workers where the OCS must be maintained when energized.
