Scope

Determine what standards are needed, develop these standards through specifications and drawings and come to a consensus through key industry representatives of the committee that these standards shall be adopted and adhered to by all those associated with the light rail and trolley bus industry

Purpose

Meet regularly to review progress on specification standards, decide how said standards will be presented, agree through mandate on what specifications will become standards for adoption and use by the light rail
and trolley bus industry

The rate is $169.00 night. As there are a lot of conventions going on room space is tight so make a reservation early!!. A block of rooms has been reserved from June 16th to the 21st. There are other hotels in the area but this one is right on the light rail line from the airport and to TriMet so travel is very easy. The reservation code is IEEE Meeting.

The IEEE Standards Board approved the 5 Project Authorization Requests for the Working Groups Identified at left.  The Sub-Committee is meeting regularly to share information and develop the draft standards.  Text development continues.

A new group will be forming for the purposes of publishing a glossary.
