SCC21 Activities and Projects

SCC21 develops and coordinates new IEEE standards and maintains existing standards developed under past SCC21 projects. In addition, SCC21 coordinates activities within its scope/purpose among IEEE societies.

The IEEE-SA Web site provides information about IEEE standards, including protocols and requirements for participation in standards development, standards development background, and information about how to get involved. In general, IEEE standards provide a common ground for communication in a specific area of electrotechnology. They also provide criteria for measuring the acceptable performance of equipment or materials pertinent to the field of electrotechnology.
