Appproval of Minutes:
The minutes for the 14-15 Aug 97 meeting were posted on the website and distributed. The Dunn Engineering presentation was erroneously omitted, and will be added.

The agenda was followed as shown in the handout distributed at the meeting.

New Business:

Presenters are requested to provide electronic copies of all presentations to the IEEE website. This is your primary method for assuring that you are accurately quoted.

Please use one of the following methods of providing electronic copies of your presentations. Upon receipt, these minutes will be updated with links to them for later viewing by visitors to this site:

Method #1: ftp to www.grouper.ieee.org/uploads Use a reliable ftp client. If you elect to use the "Upload File" item under the "File" menu of the Netscape browser, be aware that some problems have been reported with using this method through a firewall. After you have uploaded your presentation, email Ken Brooke and the IEEE site administrator, notifying them of the file names and that they are for the grouper.ieee.org/groups/scc32/imwg directory.
Method #2: Email with file as an attachment to Ken Brooke, who will ftp them to the website.
Method #3 (To be used as a backup method only): Email with file as an attachment to Rosemary Tennis, asking her to do us the favor of having them transferred to the grouper.ieee.org/groups/scc32/imwg directory.

Action Item Summary & Status:
Ken Brooke accepted an action item on behalf of the working group from the LRMS project, which was to determine what standards applied in the 911 community regarding street addressing. The material provided by Robert Gojanovich in conjunction with his presentation satisfies their request, and it will be forwarded to Oak Ridge National Labs.
