P1583 - No teleconference today
During the last
teleconference on 3/29/2005, we tentatively scheduled a teleconference today for
the IEEE P1583 Voting Equipment Standards. There will not be a
teleconference today. Another email will be sent to announce the next
teleconference.
The current status
is getting all of the unresolved comments from the last 3 draft standards into
one spreadsheet. This is being done in a way that cross references
the comments to the original source. One of the challenges is the
re-numbering of some of the sections in the successive draft
standards. Also significant re-writes of some sections creates
another challenge when looking at an unresolved comment from an earlier draft
standard.
When the
spreadsheet is completed, each task group will need to go through and
address all of the comments that apply to their group or identify the
comment as something that needs to be addressed by the whole
committee.
