If you think that you are going to convince Vern and
some of the other committee members to change their
positions on VV via an email exchange, you are sadly
mistaken. Vern is very happy to waste our time so
that we will not have time to read and thoroughly comment
on the 250 page heavily flawed P1583 document. The emails
are not going to be read by the EAC or the TGDC. It is
a lot harder to do the real work on the standard than it
is to grab at Vern's flame war bait. He spent 20 years
in the military. He knows how to fight battles and
distract the enemy from their course of action.
This is the last email comment from me on this, because
I do not want to contribute to the waste of time, but
I hope that people will take this seriously, drop the
email threads, and work on the draft comments. There
are only 7 days left.
