The P1583 meeting on 14-15 May is being hosted by Georgia Tech. We will
meet in the Electronics Research Building (ERB) on the campus of Ga Tech. The
directions to the ERB are provided below.
Because the Atlanta Subway, called MARTA, runs from the Airport to near the
campus, it is possible to avoid renting a car. But be aware that the Georgia
Tech Campus is 2 (long) blocks west of either the Midtown or North Avenue MARTA
Stations. Then add some more distance to your hotel etc. Here is a pointer to a

As for suggested hotels near the campus. The following web site provides some
suggestions. The Holiday Inn is the closest hotel, but all are walkable

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO Georgia Tech: From either I-75/85 North
or South -- take the "Techwood/14th/10th Street" or "10th/14th
Street" exit.
Northbound (from Hartsfield Airport): Head north from the airport to
Interstate 75/85 North. Georgia Tech is 14 Miles (20 minutes) north of
the airport in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Exit on the "10th/14th
Street" exit (#101), take the first left (west) onto 10th street, pass
over the interstate. Approximately 8/10 mile (4 lights) turn left (south)
onto Atlantic Drive. Atlantic intersects Ferst Drive at a stop light after
approximately ¼ mile. The Electronics Research Building (ERB) is
immediately on the right at this point, on the corner of Ferst Drive and
Atlantic Drive between Atlantic and State Street.
Southbound: Head south to downtown Atlanta on Interstate 75/85 or GA400
(GA400 will merge into I75/85S). Exit on the "Techwood, Fourteenth,
Tenth Street" exit (#26), continue straight, pass over 14th street (Wolf
Camera is on the right corner), at the next street - 10th Street - turn right
(west) onto 10th Street. Approximately 1/2 mile (1 light) turn left
(south) onto Atlantic Drive. Atlantic intersects Ferst Drive at a stop light
after approximately ¼ mile. The Electronics Research Building (ERB) is
immediately on the right at this point, on the corner of Ferst Drive and
Atlantic Drive between Atlantic and State Street.
Turn right onto Ferst Drive and at the next stop sign, which will be State
Street (currently closed due to construction), turn left into a visitor’s
parking lot. Park in the pay lot and walk directly across the street to the ERB.
Enter in front lobby to sign in (secure building) and receive a visitor's
badge.
