Working Group C1 - Application of Computer-Aided Systems to Substations

WELCOME to the Working Group C1 site.  The purpose of this site is to facilitate the development of the standards within our responsibility while maintaining external communication of our progress.

Our Scope:

To conduct and publish results of surveys, write guidelines, recommended practices, etc., for the specification and use of computer systems as they apply to, analysis, configuration, administration, maintenance, and simulation of devices and substation automation systems.

The primary task of this working group is P1686 - Draft Standard for Substation IED Cyber Security Standards - the current draft is 042506
