OK, I 'm afraid I will stop reading at this point. Go ahead and
partition all you want, and I will happily ignore these partitions
and get on with my life without ever thinking about them again.
I was asking John Sowa to give us some clarification about what the
'central things' ARE. (Remember "ontology" is supposed to be about
what things are?) By clarification I didn't mean being told that they
were 'nexuses' or could be called 'Thirdness'. Thats about as much
help as being told that they are the footsteps on the road to true
Nirvana, or manifestations of the singular otherness of the Eikarion,
or whatever.
Imagine you are trying to explain this stuff to someone who isnt
impressed by long words and has his feet planted firmly in the here
and now; someone like an Irish carpenter, say. Then I might
understand what you are talking about.
