This is the famous chicken and egg problem!
Furthermore, the current economic "weather" is not very supportive of high-tech ventures,
even more so when they have a speculative and "philosophical" flavor.
That's why only well entrenched academics could do anything about ontologies.
Unfortunately "entrenched academics" are not that much creative...
